Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Learn Anything (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This page is a starting draft maintained by Learn Anything and is not a substitute for independent legal review.

1. Your account

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

2. Subscriptions and billing

  • The Apprentice tier is free with usage limits (currently 1 AI-generated course total and 10 AI tutor messages per day).
  • The Master tier is $9/month and removes those limits.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time via the Stripe customer portal from your profile.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

3. AI-generated content

Courses, lessons, quizzes, and tutor responses are generated by a third-party AI model. Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it as professional (medical, legal, financial, safety, etc.) advice. Verify anything important against authoritative sources.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the Service, or reverse-engineer the AI prompts.
  • Interfere with the Service's security or availability.
  • Resell or redistribute AI-generated content in bulk as your own product.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the notes and inputs you provide. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to operate the Service (including sending them to our AI provider to generate responses).

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your learning data may be deleted.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
