This Privacy Policy explains how Learn Anything ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). This page is a starting draft maintained by Learn Anything and is not a substitute for independent legal review.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: your email address, name, and password hash (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
  • Learning activity: courses you view or generate, lesson progress, quiz attempts, XP, streaks, and notes.
  • AI content: the topics you search, the prompts you submit to the AI tutor, and the resulting conversation history.
  • Billing data: if you subscribe to Master, our payment processor collects your payment details. We only receive a customer ID, subscription status, and the last-four/brand of your card from them.
  • Technical data: basic request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide and maintain your account, learning progress, and generated content.
  • Personalize course recommendations based on your onboarding answers.
  • Process subscription payments and manage your plan.
  • Enforce usage limits (e.g. free-tier course-generation and tutor-message quotas).
  • Protect the Service from fraud, abuse, and security threats.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following processors to run the Service:

  • Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure. Stores your account and learning data.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Master subscriptions. Card data is submitted directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.
  • AI provider (via the Lovable AI Gateway) — generates course content and powers the AI tutor. The prompts and lesson context you send are processed by a third-party large language model to produce responses.
  • Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares your basic profile and email with us to create your account.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data and learning activity for as long as your account is active. Billing records are retained for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

  • Access, correct, or export your account data.
  • Delete your account and associated learning data.
  • Cancel your subscription at any time from your profile (via the Stripe customer portal).
  • Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA.

7. Children

Learn Anything is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
